I have to admit. When I first started reading this I got concerned. Some very cliché type storyline was developing. It was one of those where you start wondering why the heck the character is doing certain things. Kind of had me with low expectations at first. Basically a story about a young lawyer who is forced into a certain direction. Based on some earlier college episodes that he somehow takes responsibilities for. I had a hard time with that aspect. Overall it was a good read. I would knock it down because I have read MUCH better Grisham books. Good story but not his best.
