Best series by any writer presently breathing. Very entertaining and worthy of all the crazy publicity. My sister got me hooked on it - thanks Kate.

Wow. What a great surprise. I thought I was alone in this "room". LOL.
The wife is reading that series as well. My daughter started it, now for her its more challenging as english is her 2nd language. She is getting through them now. Will update you (with her thoughts on it) when she is done with the series.
So cool to have you post! Thanks.

Really like what the writer says on first page of first book, "When life offers you a dream so far beyond any of your expectations, it is unreasonable to grieve when it comes to an end." Way deep, and I figured the book was definitely worth a read. The remaining books grow in depth and strength.

Thanks for the reply Rob. Now I can finally say I'm a member of a book club, very cool. Family should enjoy the read. I've recently purchased James Patterson's Run for your life. My dad has mentioned this author to me and after seeing some of what you've read I think we may have thoughts to share. I dig detective stuff. Especially since I'm not a master of even the obvious it kind of let's me feel a little more observant vicariously thru the eyes of fictional character.

I agree. I like the dramatic, detective, type things as well. You can probably tell by some of my books I have read. Just finished up a book by Jeffery Deaver (Garden of Beasts). His stories are good too. Will post an update on my latest reads. I think I have like 4 more to post. Will try and do that this week.
